The Westwood Wine Club
THE RULES
These are the rules that you agree to when you become a Club Member,
and the rules we will abide by.
1. To open and maintain your Wine Club
membership you need to provide us with a valid credit card number (including expiration and CVV2
number; Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) and billing address, a valid email address,
a daytime phone number and shipping address. Please contact us to update our records if
anything changes.
2. When you first sign up for Wine Club membership
we will send you an email to let you know if our current releases are available at the level you have
selected, and ship them immediately. If there are no wines currently available, we will send you the
estimated date of your first shipment.
3. Each shipment will contain a detailed invoice
and credit card receipt.
4. When you sign up for the Wine Club, you are
agreeing to take the next scheduled shipment, plus at least one more shipment offered in the following calendar
year. However, you are under no obligation to take every Club shipment we offer, or to take the wines
we have scheduled for a shipment. If you respond to our notification email before the current
shipment goes out we will allow you to skip shipments, or customize the wines to what you prefer to receive.
If you wish to skip a shipment, you MUST respond to our notification before the scheduled ship date.
You may cancel your Wine Club membership at any time via email, fax, phone or mail. We will send you an email
confirming that we have cancelled your membership.
5. We will send you an email informing you of each pending
Wine Club shipment. If this email bounces back to us we will try to call you TWICE to get your new address.
6. We will charge your credit card within 5 days
and ship your wine within 30 days of this email notification. If your credit card is rejected we will try
to call you TWICE for a new expiration or card number.
7. If we do not hear from you within five business days
of our second call to obtain updated email or credit card information, we will cancel your shipment and list
your membership status as inactive until we hear from you.
8. Of course, if you or if we deactivate or cancel your
Wine Club membership you may renew it at any time.
PLEASE NOTE:
Note 1: An adult over 21 years old must be present to receive and
sign for Wine Club shipments. It is more secure to ship to a business address than to a residence.
Per shipping company requirements, you must include a daytime telephone number. Once we process your
Wine Club shipment the wine is moved from our temperature-controlled warehouse to our shipper’s
temperature-controlled facility. Our shipping partners may delay your shipment to
minimize the chance that it will sit in a hot or cold transit warehouse over a weekend (or longer). Although
most orders are processed and ship within 24-48 hours of receipt, ALLOW 2 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY. By special
request we will hold Wine Club shipments to arrive on or near a specified date.
Note 2: Please provide the street address and zip code
where you receive your credit card statements, if different from the shipping address. YOU MUST INCLUDE
YOUR CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS. You agree to receive all emails from us in order to participate in the
Wine Club. If your email bounces or if you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we will attempt to contact you
by phone. If we are unable to reach you, your Membership will be suspended.
Note 3: Credit card payments by VISA, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. For VISA, MasterCard or Discover please include the CVV2 security number,
which is the last three digits after the account number printed on the back of your card. If you are
using AmEx, please supply the 4-digit number printed on the card above and tot he right of your account
number. Faxing your credit card information to us is more secure than mailing or emailing.
