The Westwood Wine Club


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By providing Westwood with an email address, credit card information, daytime telephone and shipping address, you agree to accept all Wine Club charges and shipments until your membership is cancelled, according to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. All members must be over 21 years of age. Proof of age will be required to receive wine shipments.

2. All memberships are considered individual memberships – one credit card number per membership. If a credit card is held jointly, the membership is held by the first name on the account. Memberships may not be sold, bequeathed, or otherwise transferred in any way.

3. ALL SALES ARE FINAL UPON SHIPMENT FROM OUR DOCK. Wine may not be returned to us for credit, replacement or substitution. All shipments are insured; if your shipment is damaged on arrival contacts us immediately and we will assist you in making a claim with the carrier.

4. CELLAR DOOR POLICY: ALL shipments will be charged sales tax. ALL purchase transactions are completed at our tasting salon and will be taxed at the Sonoma County rate (currently 8.00%).

5. If you decide to skip a shipment or cancel your Membership after we charge your card but before we process a pending shipment, we will fully refund your credit card for this charge within 5 business days of our acknowledgement of your notification. If we receive your notification after we have completed a shipment, no refund will be issued.

6. If you cancel your membership after we send email notification of a pending shipment, we strongly recommend that you confirm your cancellation in writing via registered mail, FedEx, or some other method where Westwood must acknowledge the date of receipt with a signature. This will avoid any potential conflict over refunds due.

7. Our normal shipping rates apply to each of your Club shipments. Shipment outside California range from $18-$71 for three bottles to $37-$126 per case depending on destination. Shipping cost includes insurance, residential delivery and special 100%-recyclable packaging. Call or email for approximate shipping costs to your location before you sign up for a membership.

8. If you do not receive your shipment within a reasonable time, contact us and we will initiate a package trace with our shipper. If your shipment cannot be located and delivered we will replace it, subject to availability.

9. Westwood will report suspected credit card fraud and fraudulent claims for loss or damage to the appropriate agencies. Any attempt to defraud Westwood will result in permanent cancellation of Wine Club membership and removal from our contact list.

10. If you are not satisfied for any reason with any bottle you open within a year of shipment, contact us and we will discuss the problem and attempt to make it right. Westwood uses only natural cork and we expect that a small fraction (under 1%) of our bottles will exhibit cork “taint”. If you EVER encounter a corked bottle of Westwood wine contact us and we will attempt to replace it (subject to availability).


PRIVACY POLICY
As a Wine Club Member, you will receive email from us informing you of pending shipments, special offers of Wine Club-only bottlings and large format bottle releases, Wine Club events, and our semi-regular e-newsletter.

Westwood will never sell, share, or use your personal information in our Wine Club or mailing list databases to, with, or for any outside entity, agency or purpose.

We will maintain your personal information in a secure database. We will notify you immediately of any breach in our security.

Your credit card information will be purged from our database within five days of cancellation of your Wine Club membership. We will maintain your email, phone and shipping address in our database unless you also request that we remove you from our mailing list.
